I easily set it up myself. The fabric is as thick and durable as advertised. I just went through my first rain shower with the umbrella, and it performed flawlessly. Not a drop of water got through.

I bought this 9' umbrella to block the sun on my West facing deck. It does a great job blocking the sun no matter what time of day it is. The tilt feature is essential when the sun gets lower.
