Material is heavy duty. Filled bags with heavy rocks and attached to legs of 8x8 canopy. So far has anchored canopy well in 30 mph wind gusts.

Bought a 12x12 tent to take to the beach. I knew the ocean wind would pick the tent up like a kite so I ordered these weight bags. Fill them up with sand from the beach when I set the tent up and dump the sand back out onto the beach at the end of the day. Easy peasy. Works even in high winds.

I have used at the beach with my canopy. I use good tie downs and these bags do the rest. Even with a steady 15-20 mph wind the canopy did not move. I saw other canopies along the beach lift off because they were not tied down with good tie downs and weight bags. These are well made and heavy duty.

The difficulty in using these is that one needs to gather the rocks to fill them, but that is hard to avoid. When one sets up a canopy on dirt or grass, staking with long spikes is a pretty good solution. When one is on a deck or asphalt, in contrast, filling these tough bags with rocks is the way to go. These bags hold well to the canopy legs, and they can be brought to a weight that defies the wind quite reliably.

Just add sand and ready to place them on your pop up legs for great support
